February 1 - Losing my job!!! EDS (my employer) announced that they are going to be closing the Lansing Campus and moving all existing work to other EDS sites. I have decided to wait my time out at EDS and wait for my release date in order to go back to college. In less than 2 years, I will get my bachelors in Marketing.
January 1 - Happy New Year!! Trip to Boston.

November 24 and 25 - Thanksgiving weekend. Mom, Dad and Mandy drove up from Florida to spend Thanksgiving with everyone. We continued our tradition and spent the day after Thanksgiving scouring the stores for sales at the mall.
October 31st - Happy Halloween! Nothing special this year. Last minute decided to go to Spiral as a Baseball Umpire and Jason went as a Basketball Referee.
October 1st - The highly anticipated MSU vs Michigan Football game. Michigan Wins!!
September 20 - The first pictures of my new Niece or Nephew.
September 17 - My best friend Billy got married.
September 3 - First MSU tailgate of the season
August 31 - Some VERY, VERY big news coming regarding my sister.....for those that don't know, think what would typically come after you get married. :-)
August 26 - New Zealand assignment was cancelled - I am now staying home. Thanks to everyone who came out to my "non" going away party.

May 7 - Remedy (computer tool at work) upgrade finally happened.. I have spent countless hours of OT at work preparing for the upgrade in the call tracking tool Remedy. The night of the upgrade, I worked 31.5 hours straight!! Hopefully, I can have my life back now.
March 1 - My friends Josh and his brother Andy from have been working very hard at putting a show on TV called BrothersTV. Please stop by and see their web pages, watch there skits, post a message on their boards, and enjoy yourself! It's a blast!!
February 28 - Not much going on lately. Basketball has ended, projects at work are building and wishing winter would end as soon as possible.

December 1 - Started working Men's and Women's adult basketball for City of Lansing Park and Recs. Will be working almost every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights through March.
November 25 - Happy Thanksgiving! Heavy snow fall left from the previous night.
November 18 to 23 - Mini vacation to Calgary, Canada. Very enjoyable trip to get away from life for awhile and see my friend Josh and his show that he has created with his brother Andy called BrothersTV.
November 2 - One of the darkest days in our country's history as one the worst Presidents is re-elected. Please check out the Sorryeverybody.com and feel our pain. Additionally, check out the new Political Map of the US (this is funny!!).

October 9 - Tailgating at the Michigan State University vs Illinois Football game.
September 13 - Because I have outgrown my Huffy Bike and want to participate in the Delmac next fall (and other biking events), I invested in a Trek bike. I have been biking about 30-50 miles per week since I purchased it.
September 9 - Sand volleyball team
August 12th - Tonight, I had a personal best at volleyball. I served 15 straight points to take a single game. It was unbelievable. This same night our team swept the 2nd game of our double header!! Hopefully, we will continue and place near the top of the league.
August 7th to 9th - Chicago Market Days.
July 20th - Happy 1st Birthday Mandy!!!
July 2nd to 10th - Vacation to Denmark.
June 16 - Happy Birthday to me!! I turn 31 today!
June 3 - The summer baseball and softball season started. I will be busy at least twice a week until mid-July umpiring boys baseball (ages 10-14) and girls softball (ages 10-14). This is my 6th season of umpiring and hope this continues for a long time.....
May 28 - Spent the Memorial Weekend Holiday in Lexington, Kentucky with several friends. We saw the movie Day After Tomorrow. We also did some long overdue shopping and had a tons of laughs. On Sunday, we spent the day at Paramount King's Island until the tornadoes rolled in.
May12 - Started this summer's sand volleyball league. We play every Wednesday evening for an hour. Our team's name is "Fists of Fury." The team name comes from the patented return bump by Shawna Sweeney. It's original use was to vent the evil from that week's work but she has because very proficient with its use. Although our team is not very good, we are probably the funniest team in the whole league and we guarantee a huge laugh when you play us!
May 9 - Saw Shania Twain in concert at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids. My Dad and Sister bought my mom her ticket for Mother's day.
April 23 - Upon my return from NYC, I found a surprise package from Denmark. My sister who I am visiting in July sent me a CD-ROM to learn a little Danish before I travel over to Denmark. Her two boys, Jacob and Phillip, have a similar CD-ROM to learn English. I am sure they are going to get a kick out of my American accent on the Danish language. But I am getting very, VERY excited about going over to see all of them.
April 22 - New York City Trip - #2.
April 5 - Getting ready to go to NYC in a couple weeks!! I have started working out at the gym again. I have been going for about 3 weeks and I can tell difference already. I haven't lost much weight but my arms and chest are getting firmer and my pants are getting looser.

February 18 - HUGE Icicles that formed on my apartment complex.
February 14 - Goth Valentine Party.
February 10 - Nothing terribly exciting happening right now. The kid's basketball program is still going on every Saturday, I am getting excited about my NYC trip in 3 weeks. Going to a "Goth" Valentine's Party this coming weekend...stay tuned for pictures from that. Should have lots more in the coming weeks so be sure to come back again real soon.
